The aim of this course is to provide core basic science and clinical knowledge of the peripheral fundus and vitreoretinal disease. The curriculum will cover basic anatomy and physiology of the peripheral fundus plus recognition and management of common vitreoretinal pathology and emergencies. By equipping optometrists with a strong foundational understanding of vitreoretinal disease, the course will enhance their ability to assess, triage, and support the management of patients with posterior segment pathology.
