Courses for patients, friends and family

We have developed this online learning resource for patients, friends, family, carers and anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of eye care and eye conditions. This learning resource builds on the information we provide our patients as standard and delve deeper into the work we do at Moorfields.

We took a holistic approach in creating the learning resource as we understand the impact of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) extends beyond questions about treatment and management, to a person living with eye disease. Consequently, we included advice on both optical and non-optical tools for patients in varying stages of the disease, as well as pointers on how to cope with the practical aspects of daily living.
