Pricing Errors
Moorfields make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are correct however mistakes can sometimes be made. If we discover a pricing mistake on a product you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order for a full refund including any usually administration fees usually applied to cancelled orders. If we are unable to contact you or we do not receive a reply from you, we will cancel your order and provide you with a full refund.
Paying for your purchase
Personal bookings payments must be paid in full using a credit/debit card at the time of your booking. For payments by an employer or third party: We would usually expect payment in the same way as personal bookings, however on occasions we acknowledge that payment will be made from specific budgets/projects/Trusts that will require an invoice. Payment of invoices is due within 30 days of issue and places on the course are not confirmed until full payment has been received. You cannot continue on a course or enrol on another course if there is an outstanding debt to the Trust.
Cancellation - notification by the delegate
Places on our training courses and observerships are limited, so we operate a strict cancellation policy regarding refund. Cancellations must be made by email and will not be accepted by any other means. Please note that receipt of notification of cancellation will be confirmed. If you do not receive confirmation of cancellation, please try to contact us again. No refund will be made for non-attendance on the course without prior notice of cancellation. Fees cannot be transferred from course to course.
Cancellation fees
When taking bookings Moorfields incurs charges for receipt of online payments. As a result, Moorfields will retain an amount of any fees paid regardless of cancellation date. The closer to a course start date the more course-related costs Moorfields will incur. Furthermore, it may not be possible to re-fill cancelled places at a later stage. Cancellation fees will increase the closer to the date of a course or observership that a cancellation is received.
Date of cancellation prior to the course or observership date - Fee retained by MEH:
Over 20 working days before the event - 20% of course fee
Over 15 working days but less than 20 - 70% of course fee
Less than 15 working days - 100% of course fee
Some courses can accept named substitutes within this period at our own discretion where we deem appropriate.
Cancellation by moorfields
In the event of cancellation of a training event by Moorfields, we will endeavour to inform all participants two weeks before the event is due to take place - but please be aware that this is not always possible. All fees paid will be reimbursed in full including any admin charge, but we will not be able to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including flights, accommodation etc.
Travel, accommodation and logistics
You are advised NOT to book travel tickets or accommodation until you have received written confirmation of the course venue.
For medical courses, there may also be further opportunities to obtain a discounted hotel rate at a local venue. Please check your joining instructions for further details.
Fees cover all tuition costs, access to scientific sessions and any refreshments provided plus any photocopies supplied by the trainer. However do not cover travelling expenses for any incidental field trips, personal subsistence or travel, or residential accommodation (except where stated in the course leaflets).
Changes by Moorfields
Moorfields reserve the right to cancel a course, change the venue, amend the dates and/or fees and course tutors at any time and without prior notice.in the event of this happening we will try to notify you as soon as possible.

Any concerns regarding our services should be made by email to moorfields.courses@nhs.net. Your concerns should be made to us within seven days of attending a course.
