Stevens Johnson Syndrome: from Science to Therapy
Moorfields Cornea Focus 2023 is a non-promotional meeting supported by an educational grant from Santen UK and organised by Mr Sajjad Ahmad, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Hospital.
The meeting will provide an update on Stevens Johnson syndrome from an ophthalmology perspective, including the pathophysiology of the disease, the systemic manifestations and the ocular complications and their management.
Learning objectives
By attending this meeting you will understand:

The pathophysiology and genetic predisposition of Stevens Johnson syndrome.

The multisystem involvement of Stevens Johnson syndrome.

The medical management of acute and chronic Stevens Johnson syndrome, including amniotic membrane transplantation and scleral contact lenses.

Intended audience
This course is aimed at ophthalmologists, optmetrists, nurses and allied health professionals wishing to update their knowledge about diseases of the cornea
CPD Certifcation
CPD will be applied for and a certificate of attendance will be issued.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 20 September 2023 at the British Museum, London, UK. This will be a hybrid event that you can join in-person at the British Museum or virtually via live stream. A fee of £45.00 will apply for in-person attendance, virtual attendance is free.
