Elective at St Georges

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust is pleased to offer a visiting student electives programme to international undergraduate medical students and those from other UK medical schools who have completed a minimum of 4 years of a medical degree programme. These attachments are spent within the main site at City Road, or at our outreach at St George’s Hospital, Tooting.

Electives programme places cost £200 and entitle the student to attend the hospital for up to 4 weeks. With consideration some students may be able to extend their stay for up to 8 weeks but will be required to purchase an additional programme place.

Electives at St George's run most weeks through the year with a 4 week break in July and August and a 2 week break at Christmas. Each site can take up to 2 students per week when running.
