Moorfields Education is hosting an intensive course for those interested in learning more about Gonioscopy and its role in the diagnosis and management of Glaucoma. This blended virtual and face to face course will include the following;

  • Introduction to gonioscopy - the technique; pitfalls and pearls. Lenses used and their advantages/disadvantages.
  • Angle Anatomy - How to identify the normal and pathological angle, structures and angle grading
  • Case studies and a review of images
  • Face to face practical sessions and workshops with experienced members of the Moorfield's Glaucoma team.

Course structure: A morning of virtual lectures on Wednesday, 15th September 2021 followed by a half day (either morning or afternoon) practical session on Wednesday, 22th September 2021. 

If you are unable to attend the virtual lectures on 15/9/21 these will be recorded for you to watch prior to the practical session on 22/9/21. However please note interactive CET can only be awarded for the lectures if attended live.

Who is this course for: Optometrists (both hospital and community based) and any eye care practitioners wishing to learn about Gonioscopy.

Accreditation: CET points are available for UK registered optometrists and a certificate of attendance will be awarded.
