Ophthalmic Technicians Introduction Course

This virtual self-paced module has been designed for fast-tracking entry level ophthalmic technicians with little or no experience into an ophthalmic setting. It will allow the individual taking the course to assist with a variety of tasks that require a basic knowledge of medical terminology, ocular anatomy and physiology, knowledge of eye diseases and patient care prior to engaging in practical based on-the-job skills.

The elearning course contains thirteen modules and has been specifically designed to take individuals with no experience in ophthalmology or ophthalmic clinical practice to a level that they can productively join a non-medical professional ophthalmic team.
