Medical Retina Level 1 - Fully booked
This qualification will enable community and hospital-based optometrists to make accurate and appropriate referral decisions for patients with medical retina conditions; it includes topics covering screening, referral and treatment pathways with an emphasis on optical coherence tomography (OCT) interpretation and diabetic retinopathy grading.
This course is designed to suit busy professionals through blended learning. It will be carried out online and will be supplemented by face to face day. The face to face component involve workshops, case discussions, patient assessments and discussion of clinical "pearls" from experienced pratitioners. It is delivered 85% online and 15% face to face.

• possess a minimum of a BSc(Hons) in Optometry or equivalent. We accept application from other eye care practitioners.
• be a UK General Optical Council registered optometrist for those who want the College of Optometrists qualification.
This course is equivalent to 15 credits.
